The 28th Beijing International Book Fair will be held from Sept 14 to 18, 2021.

The Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF) was founded in 1986, and is hosted by China National Publications Import and Export (Group) Co., Ltd. It has become the second largest book fair in the world, the most influential book exhibition platform in China, and the most international book fair in Asia.

The Beijing International Book Fair attracts more than 2,600 exhibitors from more than 90 countries and regions each year. It has been committed to the copyright trade of foreign publications and digital multimedia publications, publication imports and exports, and the promotion of reading in China. The BIBF has become a large-scale international publishing exchange event covering books, digital, animation and other industries.

The 2020 BIBF was also a "Smart BIBF", utilizing new technologiy, such as big data and AI to provide the best possible exhibition experience online. Digital communications and online trade services will create an all-year-round communications platform for the international book publishing industry.
