The 2022 Nantong Investment Summit was held in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, on July 28.

More than 100 senior executives from renowned investment institutions and high-profile talents attended the summit.

Wang Hui, Party secretary of Nantong, said at the summit that investment funds and technological innovation have become robust drivers of the city's development.

Nantong is undergoing a new round of innovation and entrepreneurship and it is a good time for investors to invest in the city, noted Wang.

He also pledged to support science and innovation enterprises and investment institution with better services and improve the business environment.

Nantong will focus on the improvement of its business environment this year and has rolled out preferential policies to attract investment, according to Wang.

During the summit, the Nantong municipal government inked a strategic cooperation agreement with Jiangsu Govtor Capital Group Co Ltd.

Three sideline forums themed on biological medicine and medical devices, advanced manufacturing, and new energy were also held during the event.
