The China-Arab Trade and Investment Summit was launched by China-Arab TV in 2019. The first China-Arab Trade and Investment Summit was held in Beijing, while the second and third summits were convened in Xiamen in East China's Fujian province. They have drawn the attendance of ambassadors of Arab countries, officials from relevant authorities, and executives of Chinese and foreign enterprises for extensive and in-depth discussions over opportunities from cooperation between China and Arab countries. The summit has played a positive role in promoting economic and trade cooperation and exchanges between the two sides.

The Belt and Road Global Chambers of Commerce and Associations Conference (GCCAC) & the 1st China-Arab Trade and Investment Summit were jointly held by China-Arab TV and the Huanqiu news website at the Beijing International Hotel Convention Center on Nov 22, 2019.

Those in attendance of the high-level conference included Cheng Lu, former vice-chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce; Ahmed Jaber, ambassador of Yemen to China; Lin Shunjie, director-general of the Department of Trade and Investment Promotion in the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade; Yu Jin, vice-president of the Dubai branch of the Bank of China; Ayesha Alkobaisi, minister plenipotentiary of the UAE Commercial Office to China; Smail Halfaoui, commercial counselor of the Algerian Embassy in China; Walid Farghal, director-general of the UAE Annual Investment Meeting; Shan Chengbiao, general manager of the Huanqiu news website; Yang Wei, director-general of China-Arab TV; and Wang Wei, deputy head of the Department of Consumer Affairs at iFLYTEK.

The participants held candid discussions about the opportunities from the cooperation between China and Arab countries, the trend of China-Arab industrial development and financial cooperation, and the bright future for the economic and trade cooperation between the two sides.
