Required documents

The applicants must bring the following original documents for examination and return and provide duplicate photocopies of them to the Customs:

(1) Registration Form of Customs Brokers

(2) Business License with Uniform Social Credit Code attached

(3) Registration Form for Foreign Trade Manager, Approval Certificate for Foreign-invested Enterprises (including companies funded by Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao and overseas Chinese), Receipt of the Registration of Establishment of Foreign-invested Enterprises or Receipt of the Modification Registration of Foreign-invested Enterprises. (you can choose either one)

(4) Other documents relevant to the registration.

Note

*The China General Administration of Customs issued a notice on the registration of overseas-invested enterprises on Feb 3, 2017. The document was formulated to optimize the registration system of customs brokers.

According to the document, those foreign-invested enterprises (including companies funded by Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao and overseas Chinese) that have obtained the Receipt of the Registration of Establishment of Foreign-invested Enterprises or the Receipt of the Modification Registration of Foreign-invested Enterprises and applied for the registration of the consignee or consigner for import and export of goods, do not need to present the Approval Certificate for Foreign-invested Enterprises.
