Hello. I’m Engr. Akash Narain, working as a field engineer at chemical plant. I’m responsible for their all the work related to machine installation, inspections and also client and consultants point of views.
Actually, I’m a graduate from electrical department but here I’m responsible for all the things. Like the mechanical, like the welding, like the I&C and like some civil work and all the installation of machines like inspection of that when we do installation of machine we have to call our client and consultant so I’m responsible to call them and to prove them that we have installed this machine as per our drawing.
Well, I have learned many things working with HEI but the most important thing working with HEI is that HEI gave me opportunity to work as multi-dimensional. As I have already mentioned that I’m electrical engineer but here I’m working as a mechanical, I have also worked for welding and I have also got some exposure for the environmental. So, it’s a good thing for me to work as a multi-dimensional. As we know that, there is a project site so in the project we have to do the multi-tasking. So, it’s a good opportunity for me to do multitasking at our best level.
For this question, I would like to thank Mr. Lyu Dongxing and Mr Li Mingquan they helped me a lot whenever I got stuck in something like in my inspections like in my some work they have helped me a lot. They told me the way to get it out. How you can do this and what are the procedures for this. And also Mr. Lyu Dongxing gave me big opportunities like how to write the contracts, how to deal with client and how to deal with contractor. How you can do it so he relied on me and I think I’m giving my best.
When I told my friends and family that I have secured job with HEI so they get very much happy. They said this is a big thing for you and one of our relative may be one or two have worked with HEI in 1990’s so when I told them that I have got job with HEI so they said you are very much lucky to work with HEI because we know that HEI is working in Pakistan for last around 30 years. So, it’s a big company, their environment, their working environment, their office environment is very much good. So it’s a good opportunity for me to proof myself that I’m the best.
Well, I’m working with HEI for around 1.5 years so my expectations for future are also very good. I think that I have proved myself very much good and also my boss and my manager are very much satisfied with me. So I think I should hope best from them.
