The opening ceremony of the South Korean pavilion at the 10th West China Culture Industries Expo was held at the No 1 Hall of the Xi'an International Convention & Exhibition Center on Aug 17. The ceremony kicked off with a mesmerizing dance performance by a popular girl group.
With the theme of "Exploring the Beauty of South Korea in Depth," the South Korean pavilion at the expo combines modern fashion with traditional culture to showcase the unique and captivating beauty of South Korea.
The overall design incorporates fluid lines, ancient patterns and totems in white, blue, and red colors, highlighting the charm of the South Korean style.
The pavilion also features a rich cultural experience where visitors can try hanbok (traditional South Korean clothing) for free, take artistic photos in a South Korean traditional village setting, and even get their hanbok pictures printed as keepsakes.
In addition, children can participate in doll catching and coloring activities at the pavilion.
2023-2024 is the Visit Korea Year, and group tours to South Korea have resumed.
