The 2023 China International Travel Mart opened on Nov 17 in Kunming, with the theme "Nihao! China". Covering 90,000 sq meters, the three-day event set up 9 halls and 5,000 booths to host 892 exhibitors from 70 countries and regions.
In addition, representatives from the tourism departments of eight countries, namely, South Africa, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam, Nepal, Malaysia, and Laos, and six organizations, including the United Nations World Tourism Organization and the Asia-Pacific Tourism Association, are also participating.
Yunnan is the largest exhibitor and has the most booths at this year's fair. The Yunnan exhibition area, themed 'A Life Called Yunnan,' covers an exhibition area of over 20,000 square meters and features 80 specially designed booths.
Sixteen tourism bureaus from different cities and prefectures within the province, as well as 580 domestic and international units, enterprises, and organizations are participating in the exhibition. This year's trade fair also includes a satellite venue in Puer, showcasing Yunnan's high-quality tea tourism products for the first time.
