Photon industry chain docking conference held for further development

The photon industry chain cooperation docking meeting was convened on April 15 in the "Curvature Engine" hard technology enterprise community in Xi'an, Northwest China’s Shaanxi province, to promote the deep integration of photon technology with traditional industries.
The meeting was held in Xi’an on April 15.
Nine Shaanxi provincial enterprises and eight key photon industry chain enterprises from across the country carried out industry docking activities such as enterprise roadshows, achievement experiences, and cooperation exchanges under the theme of "Photon in Shaanxi".
The photon industry stands as the cornerstone of the entire information industry in the future and is the core of China's high-end manufacturing industry.
In 2021, Shaanxi took the lead in proposing to build a photon industry chain nationwide, implementing the "Chasing Light Plan" and promoting the photon industry to enter the "fast lane" of development.
In March of this year, the Action Plan for Cultivating Billion Level Photon Industry Innovation Clusters in Shaanxi Province was introduced. The plan focuses on the advantages of photon technology and the foundation of industrial development, creating a leading photon industry cluster in the country, and forming a billion level photon industry innovation cluster of international competitiveness that covers the entire industry chain.
This cooperation and docking meeting, as part of the effort, aims to bridge the gap between the traditional advantageous industries of Shaanxi enterprises and the most promising photon industry in new fields and tracks, fostering strong alliances.
At the meeting, representatives from Yanchang Petroleum, Shaanxi Nonferrous Metals, Shaanxi Traffic Control, Western Airport, Shaanxi Tourism Group, Shaanxi Automobile Group, Shaanxi Digital Group, Chang'an Huitong, and Shaanxi Hydrogen Energy engaged in communication and collaboration with key enterprises in the photon industry from across the country.

Representatives of participating enterprises believed that deep cooperation between Shaanxi provincial enterprises and key enterprises in the photon industry can achieve resource sharing and complementary advantages, promote comprehensive cooperation between the two sides in technology research and development, product innovation, market expansion, and promote leapfrog breakthroughs in the photon industry chain cluster in Shaanxi province.
In 2023, key enterprises in the upstream and downstream of Shaanxi's photon industry chain actively expanded their industry leaders. The output value of the province's photon industry chain exceeded 30 billion yuan ($4.14 billion), a year-on-year increase of over 50 percent. At the same time, the photon industry has good development momentum and huge development potential, with a total market value of 186 billion yuan for enterprises above designated size.
