The Youfanghao Mine and Coal Preparation Plant, with an annual production capacity of 5 million metric tons, recently broke ground in Ordos, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

Owned by Shandong Energy Group Northwest Mining Co, the coal mine is a key project of the "Inner Mongolian Coal Entering Shandong" project.

The project is located in Boerjiang Haizi town, Dongsheng district, Ordos. The mining area is 110.07 square kilometers, with proven coal reserves of 889 million tons. The designed production capacity of the mine is 5 million tons per year, and the washing capacity is 5 million tons per year.

The project will help Inner Mongolian coal enter Shandong province more easily.
