Optics Valley Talent Group unveiled the "Qingzhouxing Global Talent Recruitment Initiative", pledging an annual fund of 20 million yuan ($2.73 million) to support overseas PhDs, postdoctoral researchers, and scholars who are in negotiation stages. The goal is to recruit 100 top-tier global talents over the next two years.

The 3551 International Entrepreneurship Competition, which has been held nine times, aims to attract outstanding entrepreneurial talents worldwide. This year, Professor Chen Hong from Tongji Hospital of Huazhong University of Science and Technology won the top prize for her project on stem cell therapy solutions for spinal diseases.

Over the past 15 years, the "3551 Optics Valley Talent Policy" has become a key talent attraction measure. It has attracted over 5,300 high-level talents, including four Nobel Laureates and 81 academicians from China and abroad.

OVC plans to create a talent-friendly environment by building a comprehensive talent service ecosystem, including development space, career platforms, government services, and cultural appeal.
