The World Health Expo (WHE) is China’s premier national-level exhibition dedicated to the health and wellness industry. Since its launch in 2019, the expo has been held annually in Wuhan and has successfully completed seven consecutive editions. It is jointly organized by the National Health Commission, the People’s Government of Hubei Province, and the Wuhan Municipal Government.

From 2019 to 2024, the expo has maintained an average exhibition area of 100,000 square meters per edition, drawing participation from 5,996 enterprises and hosting nearly 300 forums and conferences. To date, it has welcomed nearly one million visitors from 36 countries, including government leaders, renowned scholars, and representatives from the Fortune Global 500 and China’s top 500 enterprises.

The event has seen total investment commitments reach 448.66 billion yuan ($61.25 billion), with online and offline transactions totaling nearly 12 billion yuan.

As a key platform for advancing the "Healthy China" initiative, the World Health Expo plays a critical role in promoting industrial collaboration, connecting global resources and accelerating the development of China’s health and wellness industry.
