This includes 107,247 registered enterprises (up 1.27 percent), 142,679 individual businesses (up 2.71 percent), and 708 farmers' cooperatives (up 2.46 percent). The number of domestic private enterprises reached 97,436, showing a growth of 1.46 percent.
In terms of industrial distribution, the Area recorded 11,174 entities in the primary sector (up 22.32 percent), 26,987 in the secondary sector (up 2.74 percent), and 212,473 in the tertiary sector (up 1.13 percent).
