The 27th Dalian International Industrial Fair, which was held from May 14 to 17 in Dalian Jinpu New Area, Liaoning province, achieved great success, marking another milestone in promoting global industrial cooperation.

The four-day event brought together nearly 900 industrial enterprises from more than 20 countries and regions, including the UK, Germany, Sweden, and Japan.

Welcoming over 50,000 professional visitors, the fair facilitated on-site transactions totaling 240 million yuan ($33.39 million) and led to the signing of over 5,500 intended cooperation agreements, with a combined potential value of 2 billion yuan. These figures underscore the fair's growing role as a key platform for industrial exchange and collaboration.

Focusing on intelligent manufacturing, green energy, advanced equipment, and artificial intelligence (AI), this year's fair featured ten exhibition zones. Among the highlights was the debut of the new quality productive forces exhibition zone, which showcased technological innovations driving the intelligent and green transformation of traditional industries. The robotics and smart factory zone further illustrated these trends with displays of advanced automation systems, industrial robots, and integrated manufacturing solutions.

Additionally, a delegation from Shanghai made a strong impression. Featuring over 20 national-level "little giant" enterprises, the group presented innovations across a range of fields including aerospace, marine technology, low-altitude economy, and medical equipment. Their participation deepened cooperation between Shanghai and Dalian and highlighted emerging models for interregional economic synergy.

As a flagship event in China's industrial sector, the Dalian International Industrial Fair continues to serve as a dynamic platform for showcasing innovation and advancing high-quality development in global manufacturing.
