The 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) will feature 13 high-level thematic forums. Aimed at bringing together global wisdom and discussing major cooperation plans, these forums are expected to serve as platforms for collaboration and exchange in jointly building an open world economy.
This year's CIFTIS thematic forums will see a new high in the number of international attendees. Senior officials, academicians, scholars, and industry leaders from Italy, Greece, the UK, France, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, and other countries will convene for the opportunities of cooperation. In terms of transnational projects, China and France will jointly explore medical innovation and aging population solutions; China and the UK will focus on medical science and technology innovation; and enterprises from China, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore will collaborate on the digital projects in Xiong'an. These practical endeavors will demonstrate the significant role of the CIFTIS as a platform for cooperation.
The fair has also been a promoter of cultural exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations. This year, the World Conference on Tourism Cooperation and Development will facilitate targeted matchmaking of cultural and tourism resources between Chinese and foreign cities through its "Mayors' Dialogue" and "Encounter a Different World" promotional session.
