With the intent to promote economic cooperation, the Sixth Belt and Road China-Malaysia Business Dialogue was held in Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui autonomous region from Tuesday to Thursday.

The event, co-organized by the China Economic Cooperation Center, the Malaysia-China Business Council, and the Ningxia government, attracted over 200 representatives from government and business sectors.

A highlight of the event was the Malaysian delegation's visit to Minning town, a successful model of Ningxia-Fujian collaborative development, and the Ningdong Energy Chemical Industry Base.

The dialogue resulted in several cooperation agreements in agriculture, tourism, and trade, underscoring the strengthened ties between Ningxia and Malaysia.

Wang Jian, head of the region's agriculture and rural affairs department, said Malaysia has been Ningxia's largest export market for agricultural products for several years, with continued growth in the market for cool-climate vegetables, goji berries, and frozen potatoes.
