21st OVC Expo to highlight 'Optics + AI' integration

The 21st Optics Valley of China International Optoelectronic Exposition (OVC Expo) is set to take place from May 18 to 20 in Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China, or OVC), spotlighting the deep integration of "Optics + AI".

OVC aims to use this year's expo to further enhance its comprehensive development advantage in the "sensing-storage-transmission-computation" chain driven by AI demand.
Over 10 groundbreaking industry achievements, spanning the entire chain from basic materials and core components to system integration, will make their debut on the expo’s opening day, and a dedicated "Optics + AI" exhibition area will feature pioneering innovations that fuse optoelectronic information and AI, highlighting both global firsts and national advancements.

The exposition will cover approximately 20,000 square meters, with nearly 400 companies confirmed to participate. As of May 9, more than 1,100 overseas attendees from over 70 countries and regions have registered, setting a new record.
Several high-profile conferences, including the "Optics + AI" Application Conference and the Intelligent Photonics Technology Seminar, will be held concurrently with the expo, with over 300 academicians, experts, and industry leaders expected to attend.
To facilitate business growth, the event will also host over 300 targeted trade matchmaking sessions and supply-demand meetings, offering opportunities for both domestic and international enterprises.

Since its inception in 2002, the OVC Expo has organized over 350 international summits, attracting more than 6,900 leading enterprises from over 30 countries, solidifying its status as a crucial platform for global collaboration in the optoelectronic industry.
