On the afternoon of March 12, 2026, the 4th Session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) of China voted to adopt the resolution on the Outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development of the People's Republic of China.

The Outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030) serves as the grand blueprint and action agenda for China’s comprehensive development into a modern socialist country during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, laying a more solid foundation for the basic realization of socialist modernization by 2035.
