Guangxi is one of China's key production centers for nonferrous metals. The autonomous region holds approximately 1/3 of all tin and manganese deposits in China. Guangxi's GDP in 2022 up 2.9 percent year-on-year to $2.63 trillion yuan ($382.02 million) and its total import and export value reached 660.35 billion yuan, up 11.3 percent year–on-year.
