The 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) hosted its Investment-Hotspot Cities Release Ceremony on Sept 9 in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province. Linfen in North China's Shanxi province earned the title of "investment-hotspot city" for the fifth time, joining cities such as Changsha and Guiyang in the "investment-hotspot cities alliance".

During the ceremony, the investment-hotspot cities report was released. It evaluated Linfen's investment potential across three levels: overall urban carrying capacity, industrial investment value, and project implementation conditions.

It further analyzed the city's industrial strengths and development vitality through four detailed dimensions: industrial foundation, industrial clusters, industrial ecosystems, and market entities.

Being named to the list for five consecutive years is an authoritative recognition and high endorsement by the CIFIT organizing committee of Linfen's high-quality development, favorable business environment, and cultivation of an industrial ecosystem.

Moving forward, the city will take this recognition as an opportunity to attract more high-quality enterprises to invest and establish operations, allowing them to share in the benefits of transformation and development.

On the afternoon of the same day, an official from Linfen's bureau of investment promotion detailed the city's industrial development trends for the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-30). The presentation focused on explaining the "3+6+N" new industrialization system, while highlighting the city's industrial characteristics, investment environment, and cooperation opportunities.
