WHDZ seeks high-quality infrastructure construction

A delegation from China Highway Engineering Consultants Corporation visited Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WHDZ), Wuhan, Hubei province, on June 1.

Peng Hao, director of the administrative committee of WHDZ, held a meeting with the delegation, with the aim of increasing cooperation between the two sides. 

Established in 1992, China Highway Engineering Consultants Corporation is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Communications Construction Company, a Fortune 500 company. 

Since 2008, China Highway Engineering Consultants Corporation has undertaken many construction projects in WHDZ, including designing and rebuilding roads, drains and bridges. 

Peng said that WHDZ is currently accelerating its transformation and upgrading, and high-quality infrastructure is needed for industrial parks in the zone. 

WHDZ welcomes more cooperation with the company, added Peng.

Li Zhijun, general manager of the corporation, said that WHDZ has provided great support to the firm’s development, and the company looks forward to more cooperation in building infrastructure.
