Industrial innovation forum held in Optics Valley

The Industrial Innovation and Internationalization CEO Forum was held in Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China), Wuhan, Hubei's provincial capital, on June 30.

Hosted by Hubei Provincial Development and Reform Commission, International Cooperation Center of National Development and Reform Commission, and expert consultation committee for the development of China’s strategic emerging industry, the event aimed to promote innovation driven development.

Government officials, experts and scholars in technology and management innovation from China and the United States, as well as more than 100 outstanding entrepreneurs attended the event, sharing their opinions on regional industrial innovation and paths of internationalization, to help technological companies in Hubei province go global.

Du Haiyang, deputy director of Hubei Provincial Development and Reform Commission, said that Hubei province is rich in innovation resources, and has gradually become an innovation hub for high-level professionals and high-end technologies.

Optics Valley of China is an innovation highland in Hubei province, and is also home to a number of major projects such as the National Memory Base.

It is expected that companies in Hubei province will enhance innovation abilities and deepen cooperation with industrial professionals.
