First national rare earth pigment test base set for Baotou

Baotou Hongbo Te Technology Co, a Baotou-based rare earth pigment developer, is to cooperate with Elion Resources Group on a rare earth environmentally-friendly pigment application development test base, with a strategic cooperation agreement signed on June 29, reports Baotou Daily.

It will be the first test base of its kind in China.

According to the agreement, the two companies will be strategic partners within the scope of rare earth environmentally-friendly pigments and related products, and will work together on production, research and development, and the integration of science, technology, industry and trade.

The agreement is expected to lay a solid foundation for the widespread application of rare earth environmentally-friendly pigments in the domestic market and boost innovation and breakthroughs in new environmentally-friendly materials.

Established in 2008, Baotou Hongbo Te Technology Co is an integrated tech-based enterprise located in Baotou Rare Earth High-tech Industrial Development Zone.

It boasts a team of more than 80 employees and 10 expert workers, focusing on innovation, R&D, and the production and sale of high performance environmental-friendly rare earth sulfide series products.

The company has an autonomous region-level rare earth sulfide research and development base and a wholly-owned subsidiary.
