Cultural and creative designs from China and abroad are about to make debut at the 2018 Hangzhou Cultural & Creative Industry Expo (CCIE), which will be held in the city from Sept 19 to 23.
Focusing on "Integration: A Beautiful Life in a Creative City", the event is one of China's four key creative industry expos.
With a total display area of 70,000 square meters, the five-day event is set to see eight pavilions presenting different industry fields including international communication, creative life, culture technology, fine arts, art innovation and industry convergence.
More than 40 countries and regions, including the UK, Italy, Russia, Japan, France and Germany will set up pavilions at the expo with displays showcasing cultural and creative products from the region.
Three national museums-the National Museum of China, Prince Kung's Palace Museum and Zhejiang Provincial Museum will exhibit traditional Chinese artworks alongside creative design products from the British Museum.
Along with the product exhibition, over 17 forums and matchmaking activities will also be held during the glittering event, where leading figures and established creative design companies in related industries to engage with each other and explore the modern trends of the industry.
Having been successfully held annually for 11 years, the CCIE has developed into a major platform for the exhibition and exchange of cultural and creative industries in the city.
Last year's event attracted more than 2,000 exhibitors and 259,000 visitors from across the globe.
