East China's Zhejiang province recently announced plans on 21 projects to digitize its government services.
The projects, including a mobile platform for online administrative services, a supervisory platform for administrative enforcement actions and a supervisory and analysis system for economy, are considered a series of effective measures to further streamline administrative procedures and to boost the digitization of government management.
Cutting-edge technologies like the internet of things, big data, artificial intelligence and machine learning will be applied to these projects to improve work efficiency and accuracy.
Currently, all relevant departments are pushing forward the construction of these projects. Some are expected to be put into use by the end of the year.
The digitized transformation of government functions, an important part of Zhejiang's "At Most One Visit" reform, is aimed at making administrative services smarter and easier by providing digitized tools, building digitized sharing platforms and developing data analysis methods.
