The 14th China Industrial Forum, a two-day event starting from Nov 9 in Zhaoqing city of South China's Guangdong province, is set to drive innovation in the traditional industries, said the organizer.
Xu Jinbao, head of news agency China Industry News which is also the forum's organizer, said the forum aims at promoting communications on future industry trends, and encouraging industrial innovation.
This year's forum will feature discussions on internet adaptations in industries such as intelligent connected vehicle (ICV), an attempt to provide autonomous vehicles the ability for data and information exchange with other vehicles.
The forum will also highlight discussions on investment to Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. With the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge opening to traffic this Wednesday, development of the area is seeing heated discussions.
In addition to industrial forums, the two-day event has also invited leading companies to showcase their equipment with major tech innovations.
Initiated in 2005, the China Industrial Forum has been dedicated to promoting information sharing among governments, institutes, and companies, as well as building itself into an industrial think tank.
