Chaoyang district has worked out packages of customized policies and measures for companies, covering talent treatment, industrial and business development incentives, space resources and government services, a pioneering move in Beijing.

Together with general ones, the individualized policies, which were based on a thorough research and analysis of real situations, will help the top 100 enterprises within the district overcome difficulties in development that require government-level assistance.

The first 10 pilots include Shell, BMW, Samsung, CITIC Group and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

The world-class accounting firm PwC has received a package of 18 measures, including five items of financial support for the high-end commercial service industry and investment promotion agencies, according to the district's commerce commission. Hopefully, the company will, fully leveraging its investment promotion advantages, introduce more enterprises from outside Beijing and the country to push up tax revenues.

Also, PwC's qualified talented personnel are prioritized for the renting of public housing in CBD and excellent services such as education and medical care, to encourage its brain gain from overseas.

"Of course, we hope as well to draw on PwC's professional advices in seeking a better business environment and a more open services industry in both Beijing and Chaoyang," said an official of the commerce commission.

Having paid great attention to corporation development climate, Chaoyang has rolled out many concrete measures, including the recent Further Improving Business Environment Action Plan (2018-2020), which drafts specified tasks for promoting the customized policy services.

Apart from the top 100 companies, the service will soon be expanded to major culture and science innovation companies and projects that have been newly launched in the district.
