Putian High-tech Industrial Development Zone

Putian High-tech Industrial Development Zone is located in Hanjiang district, Putian, Fujian province. The zone was launched in June 2002 with a planning area of 11 square kilometers. In August 2012, it was upgraded to be a national-level high-tech zone by the State Council.

The high-tech zone is developing in line with the strategies of building Hanjiang into an economically developed district and Putian into a beautiful, livable city.

In 2017, the zone welcomed 396 firms with 167 above designated size, as well as 96 firms with annual output value exceeding 100 million yuan ($14.4 million) and 30 high-tech firms. Its total output value in the same year reached 70.3 billion yuan.
