Ma'anshan Economic and Technological Development Zone

Construction on Ma'anshan Economic and Technological Development Zone was proposed in 1995 and it commenced in 1999. In 2010, the zone was approved as a national-level economic and technological development zone.

Since the establishment, the zone has implemented a market-oriented strategy, developed sound commercial development and provided efficient services. It has attracted a group of renowned companies, such as Mengniu Dairy, Yurun Group, Dali Foods, China First Heavy Industries, Jinxi Axle and Zhuhai Gree Electric Enterprise.

The zone now has developed three pillar industries - automobile and car parts, food processing and equipment manufacturing. In 2014, the zone's industrial output value reached 29.15 billion yuan ($4.29 billion), including 6.08 billion yuan from strategic emerging industries, and its fiscal revenue exceeded 1.47 billion yuan.
