Neijiang High-Tech Zone

Neijiang High-Tech Zone was founded in May 2014 and upgraded to a national-level high-tech zone in February 2017. Covering a planning area of 120 kilometers, the zone consists of one district and three parks, namely Baima park, Gaoqiao park and Longchang park, with itscore area extending 30 kilometers.

To seize the opportunities under China's western development plan and opening-up policy, the zone aims to build itself into a first-class high-tech industrial park with innovative capability, advanced technologies, emerging industries and talented people. 

In 2017, the zone initiated 45 projects with a total investment of 10.72 billion yuan ($1.59 billion). The operating revenue and the gross output value of the zone's above-scale industries hit 26.6 billion yuan and 35.99 billion, respectively.

The output value of its high-tech industries recorded 11.64 billion yuan, accounting for 32.3 percent of the total, up 13.1 percent year-on-year. The output value of emerging industries achieved 11.26 billion yuan, accounting for 31.3 percent of the total, up 14.5 percent year-on-year.
