The installation of all wind turbines for the Wailuo offshore wind power generation project in Xuwen county, Zhanjiang, Guangdong province was successfully completed on Monday, according to a local report.
The total investment in the project is about 15 billion yuan ($2.32 billion), with a total installed capacity reaching 1,200 MW. It is expected to go into operation by the end of the year, which will facilitate China's efforts to achieve carbon emissions peak by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060.
