Made-in-China.com, a comprehensive service platform for foreign trade, has launched its own transports by sea and air to provide all-link logistics services to domestic suppliers.
Responding to the State Council's call to step up the development of foreign trade, the platform will start sea and air freight on April 13, with the first shipping line by sea ending at the US and Canada and the one by air terminating in India.
"Sea transport is still the largest cross-border freight carrier, and air freight will be applied more thanks to its speed", said Xu Bo, head of cross-border logistics services for Made-in-China.com.
The launch marks a milestone in the platform's journey to build an all-link system, which is composed of in-house and overseas warehouses, four types of transports (direct mail, air freight, ocean freight and railway transport), and delivery to the destination.
To meet distribution needs of trans-border sellers, the platform built a warehouse in Los Angeles as it plans to create a warehousing network in North America and promote the services.
By wielding intelligent technologies and integrating resources, Made-in-China.com strives to optimize every sector of its cross-border logistics, providing overall services for Chinese suppliers.
