UK trade commissioner bullish on China's economic development

The Chinese economy will grow 5.2 percent this year as the IMF projected and its consumption has capacity to accelerate, said John Edwards, the UK trade commissioner for China in an exclusive interview with China Daily website. The reintegration of the second-largest economy in the world is bound to have a positive effect on global growth, Edwards added, saying he has high expectations for the coming "two sessions" in March.
