In order to better promote the innovative development of China's healthcare sector, the Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone (Lecheng Pilot Zone) has built communication platforms for governments and enterprises on many occasions and in various ways in recent years. The Lecheng Pilot Zone has held promotion conferences and project negotiation meetings at embassies and consulates of the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and many other countries.

So far, the Lecheng Pilot Zone has established relationships with nearly 80 pharmaceutical and medical device corporations from 18 countries and regions around the world, and had deep cooperative relationships with global top 30 pharmaceutical and medical device corporations. The zone has become a gathering place for multinational pharmaceutical and medical device companies wishing to join in China's health care & medical field and explore innovation and reform.

On April 13, 2021, the Ever Lasting International Innovation Medicine Exhibition was held in Boao Lecheng Pilot Zone, attracting more than 80 international manufacturers of innovative medical products from 16 countries to display more than 810 innovative medical products, of which 441 were not listed in China and 394 were exhibited in China for the first time on that day.

It is not only an international innovation medicine exhibition, but also an invitation to the innovators in the world medical field from the Lecheng Pilot Zone to jointly write a new chapter in China's pharmaceutical reform.
