First promotional conference of Lecheng Pilot Zone premieres in San Francisco

The 41st J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference was held in San Francisco, the United States on January 9 (local time). During the conference, the administration of the Hainan Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone (hereinafter referred to as "Lecheng Pilot Zone") together with Simcere Pharmaceutical Group Limited held a policy promotional conference of Lecheng Pilot Zone.

The promotional conference attracted 143 pharmaceutical and medical device enterprises to participate, including more than 10 listed pharmaceutical enterprises, such as CTI BioPharma, Agios, Marinus, Phathom; 85 American pharmaceutical and medical device companies, with innovative products but not listed in China; and more than 30 small and medium-sized innovative pharmaceutical and medical device enterprises.

This promotional conference was held online and onsite, and aimed at building a communication channel between Lecheng Pilot Zone and international pharmaceutical and medical device practitioners and enterprises, inspiring market vitality, further improving the popularity and influence of Hainan province and Lecheng Pilot Zone in the international innovative pharmaceutical and medical device field, pushing forward the gathering of international quality resources and giving impetus to the high-quality development of Hainan Free Trade Port.

It is the first overseas promotional conference of Lecheng Pilot Zone in 2023, marking the beginning of the pilot zone's foreign investment attraction. It is also the first special promotion of industrial park of Hainan Free Trade Port held in the United States, which fully conveys the voice of the opening-up of Hainan Free Trade Port, and plays a leading role in Hainan’s opening-up to the outside world.
