Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce Deputy Director Zhu Yi called on foreign-invested enterprises at a seminar on June 12 to contribute to the city's green and low-carbon development.
Zhu said Shanghai would further open up and explore new models for its green and low-carbon development. She hoped that more foreign-funded enterprises would play an active role in realizing the dual-carbon goals and provide more strategies for the city's green development.
In addition, she said her body would work with foreign-funded enterprises to adhere to the concept of sustainable development and focus on green and low-carbon growth.
The seminar was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) as a sideline event of the Shanghai International Carbon Neutrality Expo in Technologies, Products and Achievements.
The expo, which opened on June 11 and concluded on June 14, attracted about 600 exhibitors from 15 countries and regions to display their latest technologies and products for achieving carbon neutrality.
