Hainan promotion conference held in San Francisco

Hosted by the Hainan Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone Administration, the Hainan free trade port promotion conference took place recently at Stanford University in San Francisco.

Xie Jing, deputy governor of Hainan province, introduced the developmental journey of Lecheng. Emphasizing the impetus derived from unique industrial and medical policies, she portrayed Lecheng as an ideal hub for innovation, entrepreneurship, and its business environment, a combination that ultimately benefits Chinese patients.

San Francisco, renowned as a global hub for technological innovation and a pivotal city in the biopharmaceutical industry, has close ties with the Hainan free trade port, which presents immense cooperation potential in the fields of biopharmaceuticals and healthcare.

Xie encouraged attendees to bring more projects to Hainan, and to provide more business opportunities and development space for enterprises and research institutions. It is hoped that Hainan and San Francisco can join hands to make greater contributions to human health.
