Brand authorization propels Xilingol's sheep into national spotlight

On May 25, the 2024 Xilingol's sheep regional public brand authorization ceremony was held in Beijing.

During the event, brand authorizations were granted to six mutton processing companies and three sales channel companies. This marks a significant acceleration and upgrade in the development of the Xilingol's sheep regional public brand, driving new momentum and advantages for modern animal husbandry.

Currently, nine authorized brand enterprises have signed procurement orders with over 3,800 herders. These companies plan to purchase and process more than 800,000 Xilingol's sheep. It is estimated that over 40 percent of the products will be retailed, achieving a premium of over 8 percent. This will help establish a high-quality, high-value brand system for Xilingol's sheep, boosting efficiency in the livestock industry and increasing the income of farmers and herders.

At the event, the "China Sheep Industry -Xilingol Index" was also released, anticipated to will play a crucial role in supporting the development of the Xilingol's sheep regional public brand.

The Xilingol's sheep regional public brand embodies Xilingol League's commitment to ecological priority and green development, fostering new quality productive forces and creating new advantages for high-quality development in animal husbandry.

Endorsed by the government, it is Xilingol League's first premium livestock product regional public brand, representing the highest standard of quality of Xilingol's sheep.

Hosting this event in Beijing aims to promote the Xilingol's sheep regional public brand in Beijing, allowing for more high-quality, eco-friendly agricultural and livestock products from Xilingol to reach the capital and markets nationwide.

Over 150 participants attended the event, including leaders, representatives from the nine authorized brand enterprises, and key figures from the catering, retail, and supply chain sectors. Media representatives, influencers, and herders also gathered to witness the brand’s authorization and to discuss its development and growth.
