China sees surge in travel, consumption during holidays

China's National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday has set new records. With 2.43 billion cross-regional trips, the travel boom fueled a powerful consumption surge. From bustling pedestrian streets to booming online sales of organic food and 1.84 billion yuan ($257 million) proceeds at the box office, the energy was incredible.
