Enterprises from countries such as South Korea, Japan, and Azerbaijan signed contracts to settle in the Exhibition Center for Cross-border Trade in the Sanya Central Business District on Dec 31.
The exhibition center has now entered the internal construction phase and after completion will be a platform for displaying and selling high-quality products from multiple countries under the cross-border e-commerce sales model.
The enterprises that participated in the contract signing that day included Sino-Foreign Economic Cooperation (Beijing) Technology and Trade Co Ltd, Daedong Korea Ginseng Co Ltd, EC Certification Co Ltd as well as Appenzell Loch Brewing, International Merchandise Exchange & Exhibition (IMX), Paradigm International Trading, Serbian Chinese Business Federation and Good Life Foods.
"We are optimistic about the many favorable policies of the Hainan Free Trade Port and we are happy to cooperate with companies in Sanya," said Guan Bei, China operations manager of Appenzell Loch Brewery. "We also hope that more consumers including the many tourists who visit Sanya every year from all over the country will recognize and taste our products."
Wang Dongqing, chairman of Sanya Cross-border E-commerce Industrial Park Co, said that as a key cross-border e-commerce supply chain platform in Hainan, the park will introduce more foreign high-quality products to Sanya.
