The 2022 China (Hainan) International Winter Trade Fair for Tropical Agricultural Products will be held from Dec 12 to 15 in Haikou, capital of Hainan province.
The event is the only winter tropical agricultural exhibition in China, and is an opportunity to show Hainan's agricultural products. This is the 24th time the fair has taken place.
The 2022 winter trade fair covers a total area of about 70,000 square meters. It has 10 exhibition areas, including the Hainan fresh product pavilion, the science and technology agriculture pavilion, the rural vitalization pavilion, and the international and domestic boutique pavilion.
To date, Pakistan, Cambodia, Mongolia, and Israel have arranged for representatives to participate in the fair. More than 2,000 agricultural products from 1,200 enterprises in 18 domestic provinces will be at the fair. About 1,300 people from 22 large wholesale markets, 28 agricultural industry associations and hundreds of key merchants have also confirmed their presence at the expo.
Exhibits include fruits and vegetables, grain and oil, aquatic products, livestock, red wine, tea, coffee, agricultural and sideline products, agricultural materials, agricultural machinery and technology, cross-border e-commerce, and leisure agriculture.
A 6,000-sq-m tropical seed industry exhibition area will be set up at the winter trade fair, bringing together nearly 80 scientific research institutes and seed enterprises to show the development of Hainan's seed industry.
During the fair, a number of activities will be held, including the Hainan agricultural high-quality development forum, the Hainan agricultural brand release promotion conference, the Hainan Free Trade Port fishery industry investment promotion conference, and the Hainan characteristic agricultural product cooking competition.
