On Jan 15, a Hong Kong yacht No 143635 sailed into the Sanya Visun Marina, marking the first arrival of a vessel under the Hainan-Hong Kong-Macao "free flow of yachts" program after COVID-19 management was downgraded to category B.
Upon receiving notice of a yacht's imminent arrival, Sanya has formulated a special solution in advance that includes communicating and coordinating with the yacht, figuring out personnel information, and moving the inspection window to the dock to provide "one-stop" service for the yacht's rapid entry.
Sanya's yacht industry was developed with the launch of a series of policies, including the Implementation Plan for the Hainan-Hong Kong-Macao Free Flow of Yachts in the China (Hainan) Pilot Free Trade Zone.
In addition, the government is focused on improving the service quality and internationalization level to accelerate the opening up of the yacht industry, and hopes to cultivate new hot spots for its tourism consumption.
