The Sanya Japan Business Incubation Center was inaugurated on Oct 21 at the Taiping Financial Industry Port, marking a further extension of commerce and trade between Sanya and Japan.
Recognized by the Japanese government as an enterprise organization serving the public interest, the center welcomed its first batch of six Japanese companies.
The companies operate in various sectors including trade, culture and tourism, healthcare, logistics and consulting services – aligning closely with both the current and future planned industrial developments in Sanya.
The center aims to boost exchanges and cooperation between Sanya and Japan in fields such as economics, technology and culture – paving the way for broader development opportunities on both sides.
Since the initiation of the Hainan Free Trade Port, Sanya has recorded the registration of over 7,000 newly established foreign-invested enterprises, with an average annual growth rate of 51.97 percent in actual foreign investment utilization.
Moving forwards, plans are for Sanya to continue to strengthen its exchanges and cooperation with countries worldwide, driving economic diversification and further enhancing its level of openness to the outside world.
