Sanya has been working to improve its business environment by optimizing government services, expediting administrative approvals, and developing a social credit system to unleash innovation and creativity among business entities.
In 2024 alone, Sanya welcomed 43,000 new market entities, making the total number reach 304,000, with its business environment ranking first in the province and several innovative cases gaining recognition by the national and provincial authorities.
Sanya is currently implementing a business environment enhancement initiative to create a world-class, market-oriented, and law-based business environment, thereby propelling high-quality economic and social development.
The digital reform has significantly boosted the efficiency of business environment enhancement in Sanya, which has established an integrated platform, utilizing information technology to link approval processes, supervision, law enforcement, and businesses' credit data.
The city has also introduced the "Chief Service Officer for Enterprises" system, in which officers actively engage with companies, promote the implementation of favorable policies, gather feedback from them, and assist in problem-solving. To date, the team of 168 officers has resolved 5,476 issues related to companies' business development.
Using the business environment as a catalyst, Sanya is promoting the robust growth of the four leading industries, including tourism and tropical agriculture. Seizing the opportunities presented by the RCEP, it has established a mechanism for resolving international labor disputes and formed a multilingual legal service team.
