Sponsored by the Hainan Publicity Department and the Hainan Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports Bureau, as well as the Sanya Commerce Bureau, the Sanya International Cultural Industry Fair (ICIF) has been successfully held for six years, showcasing the charm of foreign cultures of different countries and regions all over the world.
The Sanya ICIF has garnered a strong reputation for its foreign exchanges, and has enhanced its international influence each year. It has greatly strengthened interactions between Sanya and countries as well as regions along the Belt and Road, and has also promoted multicultural exchanges at home and abroad.
The fifth Sanya ICIF kicked off on December 25 in the tropical city of Sanya, bringing together cultural enterprises from 40 countries and regions along the Belt and Road Initiative, as well as from 20 domestic provinces and cities, to showcase their cultural and tourism products. This exhibition was not only a festival of cultural exchanges, but also generated fruitful practical results. The total value of signed contracts and projects with signed statements of intention hit 2.26 billion yuan ($0.35 billion). Thirty-six domestic and foreign cultural companies were expected to settle in the city of Sanya.
The Sanya International Cultural Industry Fair 2020 was guided by the Publicity department of the Hainan provincial committees of the CPC, the Hainan Provincial Department of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports, the Sanya municipal people's government, the Hainan Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Hainan trade promotion committee. And it was held by the Publicity Department of the Sanya municipal committees of the CPC, the Sanya Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports Bureau, the Sanya Commerce Bureau and the Sanya Cultural Industry Association.
