The pioneering brand exhibition of Hainan Free Trade Port’s tourism show, Hainan International Tourism Equipment Expo (ITEE) has been classified as a key provincial project in Hainan province. This expo is the first tourism industry exhibition in China, and it mainly features “land, air and sea” tourism facilities, tourism transportation and tourism destinations.
It is held to build an international platform for the domestic tourism equipment manufacturing industry and industrial clusters to display, exchange, trade and distribute their products and services.
The expo aims to promote tourism productivity and vigorously facilitate the innovation, integration and development of tourism equipment manufacturing and other related industries.
The event will advance the construction of Hainan International Tourism Consumption Center and improve the quality and internationalization of tourism services in Hainan. These targets will be achieved by cultivating new tourism industries and creating new areas of high-end tourism consumption demand.
The annual expo will highlight Hainan province’s advantages and potential as a global tourism equipment hub. During the expo, a wide range of the latest products related to tourism from top brands will be displayed.
In 2020, the exhibition was divided into eight areas: smart travel, RV (recreational vehicle) and camping equipment, outdoor tourism equipment, entertainment facilities, outdoor sports equipment, sea tourism equipment, low-altitude flying equipment and national tourism destinations. High-end tourism transportation facilities, tourism infrastructure facilities, as well as outdoor tourism and sports equipment were the three key sectors featured.
